If you’re living with Parkinson’s (no matter at what stage) I would definitely encourage a self prescribed Rock Steady Boxing session. Exercise is the best form of medicine. I’m one person that never writes a review but been blown away by the benefits it has had on my own personal daily life, ever since watching an article on Rock Steady Boxing on BBC Breakfast time. Tommy (also diagnosed with Parkinson’s) with his team of absolutely outstanding volunteers deliver amazing enjoyable sessions . Each and every exercise is designed to work with the challenges we all encounter, delivered in an fantastic atmosphere. I’ve been to four sessions, and taken far more improvement/benefits than 10 years of hospital visits (I now recommend it to my Parkinson’s specialist) Keep up all the hard work everyone 👍👊🥊🥊🥊🥊🥊🥊

This is a Special (no contact boxing) Gym for people who have Parkinson’s disease where Everyone suffering with PD are welcomed and helped to fight everything that PD takes away. e.g. balance, gait, coordination etc through exercises. The coach Tommy is a true and honest caring man who has PD himself so he knows what Everyone in the group is going through. He is an ex army officer who boxed and trained the army boxing team he has many years boxing experience and understands everyone’s needs. Then there is a dedicated team of volunteers who work with and help the members while they exercise and fight PD. I am a newish member I was only diagnosed with PD in February 21 But I know that Exercise is the best thing you can do to fight (and hold back)the progression of this Horrible disease. So Go On do yourself a Big favour ring Tommy 07517 499409 and join him, the volunteers and the team of great people who ALL suffer the effects of PD. But are doing something to hold the symptoms back remember it’s up to you only you can do it but be like me ….. Join , have fun, make New friends and fight Back 07517 499409 Finally I look forward to meeting you and welcoming you to the TEAM Good luck best regards Denis pilling

Rock steady is not only good for me but it’s fun too.. This is from someone who has never exercised before. If you have Parkinson’s why not give it a go. Jackie We are at week 12 and rock steady and boxer are going from strength to strength. More new members today. So if you have Parkinson’s why not give it a try. I highly recommend it. Jackie Wilson xx Now going to Rock Steady Boxing twice a week. Still really enjoying it very much. I feel stronger than I’ve been since being diagnosed with Parkinson’s 6 year ago. If you’re thinking about joining why not go tomorrow. Give it a go
